Company: Brooks Running Shoes

Role: Lead Designer

Designed and executed creative assets for the Brooks Running Pop-Up Store campaign during the NYC Marathon, aimed at energizing marathon participants and the broader running community.

I led the development of the event’s primary visual lockup and contributed to in-store graphics and branded merchandise—including t-shirts, scarves, tote bags, and pins. The campaign brought Brooks’ new brand expression, “Let’s Run There,” to life, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to supporting every runner’s journey.

Challenges

  • Strategic Shift: A last-minute change in branding and marketing strategy required our team to pivot quickly, redesigning assets from scratch while repurposing existing materials.

  • Tight Timeline: Working under a compressed schedule, we stayed in constant communication with stakeholders to ensure fast approvals and deliver high-quality work on time.

  • Brand Integration: We needed to blend Brooks’ refreshed brand identity with a unique, localized experience that resonated authentically with NYC runners.

Results

  • Increased Brand Engagement: Visitors interacted deeply with branded elements throughout the space, leading to strong merchandise demand and positive event feedback.

  • Boosted Social Media Presence: Brooks NYC’s Instagram account nearly doubled its followers during the event, with vibrant in-store designs driving shareable moments online.
